We believe in a spiritual birth (John 3:3-6). Once we have been born again, we start as babes (1 Peter 2:2) with the power to become sons of God (John 1:12). We must become like little children (Matthew 18:3-4), being Fathered by the Spirit of God so that we can develop the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) through godly discipline. We strive to know God, mentor and be mentored, and become a part of the body of Christ (church). As the fruit of the Holy Spirit is developed, solid husbands and fathers are being raised up who can now love their families like Jesus loves His church. We believe society has been eagerly waiting for on-fire men of God to rise up and father generations to love their wives and children (Romans 8:19).
We would like spiritual father/son relationships to develop in this ministry that will strengthen the men in this church. With strong men that know God, we will have strong families, strong futures for our children, and a strong society following biblical morals and values!
Here are a few things to look forward to in Men’s Ministry:
- Men’s breakfast meets every 4th Saturday of the month 7:30-9:00 am in the Fellowship Hall. Enter through 4.
- Helping Godtown in various ways.
- Helping widows and elderly men and women with yard work and moving.
